I'm from Rockford... but I dont see any groups around there.. more towards Chicago area.. and Northwest Illinois. You should Google.. you may get lucky and find something! HTH!

If you go to meetup.com you might find something. I used to live in the Champaign area and I had a hard time finding mommy groups to join. You might check the library, ours did a playtime type thing for kids a year and under. The moms of real little ones just sat around and talked til their LO could actually play. It was just nice to talk to other moms and get out of the house! GL!
