WTE says by 3 months your baby may be laughing out loud.  DD isn't even close.

DS isn't laughing yet, although there were a few times when we thought we heard him laugh when DH was tickling him. I read that it can start as early as 3 months, but some kids don't start laughing until they're 2 or 3 years old.

She has done a belly laugh once before but now she does kind of a quick suck in of air and it makes a cute noise, and she is smiling so big when she does it.  I know she is laughing then but it isn't a belly laugh.

DD tries to laugh, but it just doesn't work. As long as she's cooing and smiling, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

My ds is laughing all the time!  My husband makes the funniest noises and facial expressions for our ds and he belly laughs really hard.  He has been doing it for about three weeks or so now.  He has only laughed a couple of times for me, but that's ok.

Ditto! Every once in a great while I can get a belly laugh out of her but it doesn't last very long. I wish it would though, I love it when she does that!

She laughed after she turned 3 months once and then we didn't hear her do it again for another week or two. Even now, she only laughs once in a while.

DS just started laughing out of the blue at around 2 1/2 months.  He was hanging in the tub and he started laughing.  It came out of nowhere, so I wouldn't worry if you don't think she's close.  She'll probably just bust it out one day.

DS has been laughing for a few weeks now. Not loud, just little chuckles. He does it all the time, it's the best!

My youngest does quite a bit and then he spits up.  My oldest was not laughing at this point, but I just think he didn't find us very funny.  I definitely would not worry about it at all.

Yes. She started laughing really early, right about the same time she started smiling. We don't always know what she thinks is so funny, but she does laugh.
