Rhogam Q - "exactly" 28 weeks?

I need my Rhogam shot in a couple of weeks.  I can't go on the day of "exactly 28 weeks" and the scheduler gave me a hard time about it.  I can go at 28 weeks, 3 days.  Anyone else not go on "exactly" 28 weeks?

(I also have to do the 1 hour glucose test that day if it matters.)

I was given my Rhogam shot yesterday at 26 weeks, 5 days. They should not give you a hard time about not being able to go in at exactly 28 weeks. That's ridiculous.

I took my glucose test yesterday too. Haha Weird.

Some women don't even get the shot at 28 weeks, only when they actually give birth.  So I don't understand why they are giving you a hard time.  And really... most women don't even know when they are at "exactly" 28 weeks.  The scheduler is being silly :-)

I had one at 22 (I had bleeding) and I will have another at about 30 weeks.

My doc just said "around 28 weeks".  I had an appointment today and I didn't get it, but I"m expecting it at my next appt in 2 weeks.

You only need a rhogam shot if you have type negative blood. I'm type o negative so I will get one. If you don't know what it is you probably don't need one.

I don't think it's a big deal at all if you can't make it at exactly 28 weeks...the secretary is a moron.  I wouldn't worry about 3 days.

I'm getting mine at 28 weeks and 5 or 6 days.  The Dr.'s office didn't seem to mind at all.
