I am miserable. My doc gave a list and it has plain robitussin for cough and sudafed for nasel congestion. Just curious what other doctors said were okay. I won't be taking anything unless I get the okay from a doc just curious and bored!
I took Sudafed every four hours for almost five days straight to knock out a sinus infection that I had. It seemed to work pretty well... that, combined with saline nasal spray and cough drops. Lots of vitamin C as well.
Sudafed, Claritin, and Tylenol Cold and Sinus, as well as vitamin C drops saved me through my TWO head colds. I'd call and confirm those with your doc, though.

Tylenol cold and sinus? Really? I wish my doc would have told me that because Sudafed suuucccckkksss.
Not quite the same but I researched allergy meds a bunch last week when mine were killing me. Claritin (plain, not D) and Benadryl are a-ok. Jury seems out on sudafed (pseudoephidrine). Likely it's fine there's just not as much data as on the other meds (it is on my dr. approved list but I avoided it - pseudoephedrine can make you jumpy and racing heart = not good for baby). The pharmacist also said I could take the claritin in the morning and also take the benadryl the same night.
