2nd Trimester

I said this a long time ago but once upon a time all the pg girls

AND the girls who were TTC all had to coexist on ONE board on the nest.

The "how can 10 weekers relate to 20 weekers?" questions and "I'm so tired of 1st tri posts" comments crack me up because I'll always remember having nothing but BOTB to go to when I was pg with DS1.

Then you had TTC girls actually getting upset over too many BFP posts and 40 weekers talking about losing their mucus plug and how to induce labor while 8 weekers asked about lunchmeat and car seat warmers.

So even though 10 weekers come over here with cookies and cake begging to post, it's nice to be pregnant on these boards this time around with three trimester boards that *essentially* make it easier for all of us even if people don't strictly follow the 40 weeks/3 rule. I feel lucky. So very very lucky.

  • That is a fantatstic point.  I never experienced that, but I can see how that would get pretty touchy.

  • I agree. Not that the baby related stuff mattered to me at the time, but I remember when it was all lumped together...and when the nest was brand new! lol
  • As always... ::ang enters with perspective::
  • Oh I remember this time, they were just starting to introduce the pregnancy boards when I was pg the first time, I think mid-way through the second tri.  In a way it was a simpler time.
  • Nicely said!
  • Oh I would not have liked the old board AT ALL!!!  How horrible was that??  I am not strictly following the rules because 3rd tri intimidates me still!  I have started posting things there though... baby steps... Smile

    I know right! I couldn't imagine it if I hadn't lived it.

  • EEK! Sorry for the double post. Dumb work computer.

  • Great point. I don't understand the complaints. If someone asks a question you think is stupid...ignore it!!! DUH! This is supposed to be to help. If I'm in the mood and think I can help I will answer a lunchmeat ques or something like that.

No big deal, power of the internet. You can close or scroll right past what bugs you to get to what you want.

  • I remember those days! ?I was in my hopeful, just-started-TTC phase, and I had to leave within a matter of months because it was just too much for me to see all the other ladies getting pregnant while I was still . . . waiting . . . .

I bet the TTC and TTTC ladies are grateful now that they don't have to listen to all of our pregnancy talk! ?I know I would be.?

Yes, I bet! It's incredible that we were all there together like that.
