My incision area is still sore, but I by around 8 weeks I was back to moving w/o worrying about it, taking walks, etc.

Was mobile after 2 weeks but still feel numb at times along with some minor pain.  Took my sister 1 year to feel totally fine.

I started to feel like myself around 4 weeks, but my stomach still hurts every now and then and DD is 7 weeks today.

I was told to expect the recovery to take 6-8 weeks.  It's major abdominal surgery, plus you are taking care of a baby.  It'll get better it just takes time.

Ditto this. It sucks. I started to feel like myself again after 7 weeks there about. I still have my days though. It takes time.

Most likely what you feel is the internal incision. The inside stitches can take 90 or more days to dissolve. In te meantime they'll tug and pull at times.
