Forgive me if someone recently asked this but I was wondering if anyone swears by a certain lotion/creams/oils for their bump? I already have some stretch marks on my sides from gaining/losing weight and I really don't want any more! Can anyone rec.a good lotion/cream/oil that helps with the itch and stretch marks? TIA
Re: Belly Oils/Lotions
Don't waste your money.
They're genetic - you either get them or you don't.

just an FYI... i know you dont want any more.. but you cant stop them. if theyre coming then theyre coming.. you can make them lighter tho and less itchy. i use burts bees tummy butter, because i hate the smell of coca butter. its really helped. im only now getting a few at 30+weeks.
also, see if you mom had them, ive read in numerous places that they are heritary.
Sorry, that's what I meant....I don't want the ones I have to get any worse...and goodness does the belly itch!!!
i hear ya, i have some on my hips/sides from weight gain/loss previously. and they are getting worse for sure. but i still apply the burts bees. i really like it. i use it every night, cause its really thick.
I use the Eucerin calming lotion for the itchies...not for stretch marks.

ok while i was also a firm believer in oils/lotions not preventing stretchies, i started using bio-oil months ago, and where ididnt use it (right on the outsides of my breasts under my arms) i started getting some. now, im not saying it works to prevent or anything, but i swear by it and use it all day long..

I just use my regular lotions and slop myself silly after every shower (and sometimes before bed). I like the super smelly stuff
Im using body shop body butter, biolage hydrating body balm, bath and body works/victoria secret tubes (not the runnier formulas in the bottles)
ohh and philosophy body butters

A friend got me Clarins Oil as a gift... said it's the #1 selling oil for pregnancy at Nordstrom. So far, so good.. but it's still way early. The reviews online gives it positive marks.
