? to ask home daycare provider

This coming fall I am going to take one biology course at the university on M & W. I will need a Daycare provider on M- from 11-5:30 and W- 1-5:30.

Not a long period of time but I still want to make sure the kids are in a very safe environment. Here are some questions I have thought of.

Is the home babyproofed?

who will be in the home while kids are there?

Are there guns in the house

Does anyone smoke in the home?

Is there a pool

Where would they take naps?

How does she discipline?

How much does she charge?

A friend is recommending her so I haven't met her yet. Any other questions I should ask?
