Parenting after a Loss

Are you seeing results from doing the Shred?

I've only been doing the shred for 2 weeks now, but I'm getting really frustrated...haven't lost one stinkin' pound! I've also been eating really healthy and walking every day. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong! I suck at diets.

I even signed up for WW online to see if I'm eating ok, and I eat less than my allotted pointes. I just don't get it! ugh!

I have seen some results and am doing weight watchers.  It is still really early for you to lose weight.  Your body is still adjusting and is not going to get rid of the weight that quickly.  I didn't really start losing a lot of weight until 4 1/2 months, when I went back to work. I know some people lose it all (and more) right away, but I was not one of those lucky few. Hang in there...it took you nine months to put on the weight...give yourself time to get it off.

  • If you are eating less than your allotted points you can actually gain weight. Its really important to eat all of your points especially if you are exercising because your body can go into conservation mode and hold onto the weight.

I had great success on WW pre-pg and its working for me so far after as well. Stick with it! You're on your way to loosing those pounds.

And I have Shred but have yet to start it. Can you say procrastination?

  • I lost 6lbs in 17 days
  • I just finished my first shred.  I can't imagine it not doing anything.  I am pooped and my thighs are on fire!

  • I did it straight for 3 weeks and didn't lose any weight, but I felt so much stronger, better and like my clothes were fitting different.  That said, I got frustrated with no weight loss and haven't done it since.
