Seriously, I made it THIS FAR without once throwing up. In the last 15 minutes, I've run to the bathroom twice with the sweats and tunnel vision and choking back the vom.

Although I will say ice cold Coke worked the best for me.

Seriously that's been happening to me lately...I made it through first tri pretty much puke free but now, ugh. Either baby is hitting a growth spurt or I got to have a bigger meal with my prenatal vitamin.

I couldn't do the ginger ale or sprite... too much syrup for me. Try sparkling or carbonated water if that doesn't work.

I don't know why it works. It will make me feel a little better, but if I'm already on the verge of puking it doesn't stop it. I've thrown up like 200 times (not joking) this pregnancy so I am really good at knowing which nausea I can hum through and which I need to head to the bathroom for.

that really sucks you have been so sick. hopefully it has gotten better. i know it isn't funny, but the visual i have of you concentrating and humming is really funny.

I'm still sick, but I just deal with it now. I let the lady I work for know I would call in sick when I am and come to work when I can (I only have 3 weeks left so if she lets me go so be it) and I just do my best to function like a normal person. I can only imagine what I look like when I'm sitting on the bathroom floor humming twinkle twinkle little star, but at this point I've lost all of my dignity when it comes to getting sick.

OMG. i feel so bad for you. maybe this is your entire pregnancy payment...lots of barfing = shorter labor? here's hoping.

Ha - I can only imagine what the other ladies in the bathroom were thinking when I was in there. For some reason, the whole "I'm gonna barf" episode triggered my nose to run wildly, so I was just standing in the stall, burping and blowing my nose.

I didn't throw up at all in the first tri, and in week 14 I three up three mornings in a row. Turns out it was the new OTC prenatal vitamin I'd switched to. When I went back to brand I was using during first tri, the vomiting stopped. Weird, eh?
