S/O the Pampers pee line

DH did all the diaper changes in the hospital becuase I was recovering from the C section - the hospital diapers had the line on them, so it was easy for DH to do diaper counts and what not.

End of day 1 at home I ask DH how many wet diapers he had changed and he says none.  I panic, because I had only changed 2 all day.  I freak out, check his diaper and go to change it because it is wet.  DH asks why I am changing him since there is no line on the front.  I calmly explained that our diapers do not have the color changing line on them.  He goes, "Well hell I have no idea how many wet diapers I changed then."

LOL - there was no line at all, what did he think was going to change color?!

Ha ha, DH got tripped up by the line as well. He couldnt tell if he was wet with out the line. I tried to explain that the diaper gets "thicker" and heavier when wet...he's got it now though.

Well, I have to admit I was tricked once too . . .I bought a package of Pampers Swaddlers that had the line, followed by a pack that didn't have the line. I was expecting the line, so I didn't notice it wasn't there - the yellow isn't that noticeable.

Agreed!  I hate that only some packs of the regular swaddlers have the line.  It's so random.
