Pre Labor Questions

Ok so today I feel like I have the flu, not all the time just once in a while I will get really sick to my stomach and my belly gets really tight.  It lasts for only about 3 minutes or so and then is gone. On a side note, last Thursday I was 70% efface.

I called the Dr. and of course he is busy so I ended up talking to a nurse.  She told me that I might just have a case of the flu, or it could be pre term labor. 

I do have a Dr's apt. tomorrow morning. Just wondering if this happened to any of you ladies right before labor.

Oh and it hurts like heck to sit down today, usually it hurts to stand and walk but today I would give anything to just stand all day.

    First off, when did you get to be 37 weeks? :)

    Sounds like it could be pre labor. Have you had the overwhelming urge to do to the bathroom? 

    The belly tightening sounds like early contractions to me. Good luck!!

    Ditto the overwhelming urge to go to the bathroom (#2 more than #1).

    I didn't feel sick to my stomach but I was in a lot of pain the last few weeks of my pregnancy--I could stand for maybe 20 minutes tops and had to change positions ever 45 minutes while lying down.
