We are thinking about Henry too, in which case it would most likely be Henry Joseph.
I like that. Very cute!
Thanks ladies!! I am just going to write down all of these names and have DH look over them. I guess I will have him cross off the ones he doesn't like and I will choose from the remaining names. We really want a name by this weekend when we visit our families.
I have a friend whose little boy is named Henry James - she is a big fan of the author. I think it's a sweet name. I love the name Henry. What about your maiden name, would that be a good middle name?
Amy I love the name Henry, and I totally know how you feel about not agreeing with DH on anything. We have settled on a few (no middle names yet) but I think once we find out the sex the debate will reopen.
I like the one syllable sound like James, Dean, Mark, Jude, Kyle, Luke (I searched one syllable boy names that didn't start with H or B, and these are the ones I thought were good).
I think classic names tend to sound best with Henry. I wouldn't go with any of the more trendy names like Jaden or Braden, because Henry itself is such a classic name.

Arvin, which is an actual boy name. I know a lot of people do it, but I don't see DH going for it. In fact, I don't see DH going for much!!

I know what you mean! We agreed on a girl's name with zero drama or disagreement, but picking a boy's name has been very difficult! He doesn't seem to like anything I come up with. Except, oddly, Zane, which I kind of threw out as a lark.

I know. One day I was like how about Emma Grace, he said ok, and we had a girl name. Then that little penis came up on the u/s and my first thought was this kid will never have a name. haha.
Congrats on 16 weeks. Are you doing any of the extra testing since your last little babe had a chromosome abnormality.
It seemed easier to pick the girl's name than boys. I don't know why. We're still deciding since we're keeping it a surprise we need both names on hand.
Anyway, I love Henry James, maybe Henry David? Of course, that's also a writer's name (Thoreau).

We did the NT scan and the results were very good. Trisomy 22 is kind of a flukey thing - the way my doctor explained it to me is that it's random and having it doesn't make you any more likely than anyone else to have it again. I was so glad we opted to do the genetic testing after my D&C - those were the best results we could have gotten.

That's great. The NT scan put my mind at ease. I am so glad you all found out what was wrong the first time and that it is not something that will continue to happen. Congrats to you and your healthy little babe!
Re: I am not sure if we do this over here...
Henry Patrick
Henry Ross
Henry James
DH's middle names is Harding and that's something we don't want to pass on. haha.
I thought we could use William because it is a family name on his side and my side, but DH doesn't like it.
Our biggest problem is DH not liking anything. We are lucky we agreed on Henry.
Henry James sounds good, but he is an author...
Starts with a B and has 6 letters.
We are thinking about Henry too, in which case it would most likely be Henry Joseph.

I'm a fan of Nathaniel personally because that was going to LO's name if she had a weenie but she doesn't.
I knew that sounded familiar...

Yeah for settling on a first name!

I don't have any new suggestions, but I think Henry James and Henry Michael sound really good together.
My DH has been very picky with names as well and we just agreed on the names on Monday. I know how you feel!

This is exactly what popped into my head, I think it sounds like a great name.
Some that have not been suggested yet:
Henry Dale
Henry Alexander (Alexander seems like a good middle name for two syllable first names, depending on the syllables of the last name)
Henry Oliver
