2 month shots

what can i expect with the 2 month shots?  Will she be fussy when she wakes up from her nap like she was with her Hep B shot last month?  Should I give her tylenol then or should I wait and give it to her only if she's got a fever? 

How did it effect you?  I was devistated when she got a shot last time and that was only one. 

Just trying to prepare myself.

Caroline-slept for 24 hours only waking to eat and back to sleep.

Julia-was extra fussy, extra hungy, did not sleep.

I give Tylenol after they get weighed. Then every 4 hours for 24 hours.

It did not effect me at all, I did not get any shots. Why were you devistated?

Jonah cried when he was injected and then quit like 2 seconds later. He crashed for a few hours when we got home and then woke up fussy but went to bed fine. The next day he was a little fussy but nothing horrible.

 Same thing happened to DS. We didn't give him any Tylonol, because he didn't have a fever, but it was clear he was pretty myserable once he woke up a few hours after the shots.

I'm totally with you on being devastated. I wanted to claw the doctor's eyes out (but, of course, controled myself). Just remember that it's all for the greater good and will prevent your LO from being seriously sick later in life. The important thing is that they won't remember a thing. We're going for our 4-month shots on Monday, so I'm hoping it'll be a little better.

We had three shots and one vaccine is an oral drink. We had the three because I need the Hep B, She cried/screamed after the shots and then fell dead asleep. The Dr. said I could give one full dropper of Tylenol as a dose now that she is 2 months. So I gave 1 dose when we got home and one  that night, and she really slept. We have been dealing with diarrhea and they said that could be from the rotovirus shot. Otherwise she was fine.
