Has anyone used/read The Baby Whisperer? ?I like the idea of establishing a routine rather than a schedule. ?EASY (Eat, Activity, Sleep, You time) seems like the routine we have naturally fallen into. ?Do I need the book? ?TIA!
No you don't need the book. I bought it because I thought I needed it and I just followed the steps for it and he's STTN since

I just picked up her follow up book, the baby whispers solves all your problems, and I'm enjoying it so far. We just started the EASY routine Monday, and last night was the best night we've had in a long time. I'm sure it was a fluke, but I do feel like EASY is going to make our lives easier. I also like some other stuff in the book, non routine related. Some of it seems like common sense, but it's nice to have someone confirm it.
I got it from our local library.

We have all her books but I recommend buying "The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems". It is very comprehensive and not only covers babys but toddler problems as well (potty training, solid introduction, etc.). I love the EASY method and while it is fairly inherent there is alot more in the book that helps with routine building. Shelby has been on EASY since coming home and started STTN at 5 weeks. Good luck.
You don't necessarily need the book, but I like having it. It has a lot of other really good info in it. It's one of my favorites and I go to it all the time to look up stuff.

Don't buy it. ?Pick it up at the library if you wanna read it. ?The method works for some. ?Not for us though. ?If I tried to put my DS down for naps when he is "tired" it'd turn into scream-fest 2009. ?I think maybe the method works better for older babies... BW claims you can do it from birth, but I don't buy it.
