Napping for a 5 1/2 month old

My son will take naps throughout the day, but ONLY if he is held.  Now, I only work part time but I would like to get some stuff accomplished during the day...  We did the ferber method 2 weeks ago and he adapted really well.  Now, how am I supposed to get him to go to sleep on his own for naps?  Am I supposed to do the same thing?  5 min, 10 min, etc...  Help!!!

Yep same thing, but only give it an hour. After an hour you get him and keep him up until the next nap time.
