Advice on Job opportunity

Duplicate Post from Toddlers: 12-24 months 

So I just got offered a job teaching a biology course this summer (starts May 18th and is for 6 weeks in the evening), which is great.  However I have never taken this course and this will be my first teaching job (I am finishing my PhD this summer).  I am excited and nervous as to whether I should take it?  I am the type of person that has to be fully prepared and wants to do the best job I can!

Any suggestions, I need to let the Department Head know my decision by this evening.

I would do it. I work at a university and I use to teach a computer science course and summer is so much more laid back. It wasn't too bad for me at all. I did teach the course before the summer so it was a challenge to figure out how to keep people interested and shrink down the course work to fit it into 6 weeks but I did it and I enjoyed it.
