FINALLY found some good underwear for me! :)

In my desperate attempt to find good-fitting cotton underwear, I have been searching for weeks. I have tried maternity panties and they just don't fit right since they're larger in the butt than I need (and I think that's a problem many of us have). Anyway, I bought a 4-pack of Hanes low-rise cotton string bikinis, and I think they're going to be perfect for me. They're low enough to not roll down in the front or have to fit around my lower belly, and the sides are stretchy enough so that they don't dig into my hips. Plus, you can't beat the price - Walmart sells them for $5 for 4 pairs. Just wanted to tell anyone who's frustrated with underwear. :)

  • Thanks for the tip!  I haven't worn underwear in weeks because I can't find any that are comfy Embarrassed
  • I've been putting off buying new underwear for awhile....but I can wait no longer!   It seems that over the weekend my hips suddenly spread out!   Lovely!

Nothing wrong with going commando. :)  I did when I was pg with DD if I couldn't find any underwear that wouldn't ride up or slide down, but I do wear skirts a lot, so I had to find something to wear.

  • I really love my Hanes - I went up a size just so I could keep wearing the comfy ones. Smile

I love the thongs from target - 5 for $20 - that have the big lacey waist band. They don't dig in and are stretchy enough to hopefully grow with me for a while.
  • Gap Body also has some thongs with a wide, lacy wasitband.  The waistband - nice and stretchy.  They also are low rise so they go under the belly.  And don't forget (since we're talking underwear), post birth you need the super high old lady undies.  If you end up with a csection you do not want your underwear hitting on the scar line.

  • I have found that I really like Maidenform I think the ones are called barely there or something (at Kohls and ??) I have their thongs that I wear during the day and then the boy shorts I wear at night. They are all really light/thin and really comfy.
