Bleeding after internal exam

I had my first one last week and didn't have any bleeding at all.  Today, I had my second one.  I had some bleeding after this one.

 

How much bleeding should one expect and how long after an internal do you tend to bleed?  It is lessening (and wasn't tooooo much to start with) but it was kind of alarming and now it is just spotting still.

Unless you have bright red flow, you're good.

I had my first internal today and haven't had any spotting, but the doc said that it's okay to have some - but that if it is a steady stream to call the office.  It sounds to me (obviously I'm not a doctor, so take it for what it's worth) like you're fine, but if you're concerned it can't hurt to call your doc.

My dr did one yesterday and I bled right there in the office and it was bright red.  It was enough that I needed to wear a pad just to get home.  But afterward It has since stopped.  I too became alarmed at first but she said that was normal as long as it didn't continue.
