I guess I should explain. It's a Sikh wedding, so we'll be in Indian suits and barefoot for the ceremony.  The men are supposed to wear brown leather sandals for the "dance" from the ceremony site to the reception site.

Good news is he'll probably be thrilled to have the sandals later!

Nah - they all have normal sized feet, but my cousin's (the groom) brothers are wearing Birks, too.  The groom's wearing the shoes that curl up at the toes.  Too bad the whole wedding party can't wear those.  lol
