My great grandmother was Lydia and I love the name but DH isn't too crazy about it. If we have a girl I really wanted to name her Lydia Faith, but I don't think it will happen this time around.

It's pretty rare around here. I only knew of one and that's when I was in grade school..mid 80's.

I love it! It was on our girl list.

She'll mix in well with all of the little Emmas, Olivias, Isabellas, Sophias, and all the other classic little girl names that are very popular now... except that there won't be 4 other Lydias in her class.
