Damn you, swine flu!

We were supposed to leave tomorrow for a business-related trip to Bermuda, and DH just called and said his CEO is cancelling the trip now that the swine flu threat has been upgraded to a level five.

I mean, I know we're better off not risking traveling, especially with a young child, but I was so looking forward to this trip! Plus it has me completely thrown off to have our weekend suddenly open.

On the upside, at least this means we won't be out of the country as we're making an offer on a new house. DH sees it as a sign that we're supposed to get the house. lol. We'll see!

That sucks, but I wouldn't want to be on a plane right now. 

Maybe go somewhere local as a mini-vacation.
