I was just informed today that my hours have been cut to 24hrs a week starting monday. There will not be enough time in the week to get all my work done. And they haven't even talked to the Dr that I'm the MA for about it, but informed me of it today. Wow, May is going to be just wonderful.
Since it is your employer has reduced your hours, please be aware that you may be eligible for unemployment benefits for the missing hours. ?Don't hesitate to file for those funds -- you have paid the money in for just this situation.
MissSusie, if they cut your hours to 24, then you have to cut your work as well. DO NOT let them get away with paying you for 24 hours and making you do 40 hours worth of work. I'd sit down and make a list of the 16 hours worth of work that you won't be doing anymore and make it known that they'll have to find another way to get that work done.
Re: To top it off...
But your leaving in June right? So it's only for 1 month, am I right?
