Since you have such great taste in names .....

What do you think of Nolan Charles? That is our front runner right now. I am stuck on middle names for George if we did decide to go with that. Any suggestions? Too bad DH hated Oliver because I really loved that one too.

Also, I am pretty sure that Lilah is our girl name and again, I can't come up w/ a MN to save my life.

Do you have a name picked out for your little girl? Congrats btw!

I like Nolan a lot, I cant recall why we never tossed that one around. And of course I love Charles, we used it for Tillman's middle name and it was my grandfathers name. I think Nolan Charles sounds very nice together, not as nice as Oliver, but what can you do, right?

As for girls, funny you mention Lilah - DH is obsessed with some variation of Lilah, Lilly, etc. I like them too, but I know a few people with that name, and it feels weird to use it for some reason. I on the other hand have a "short" list of about 15 names, and we can not agree to save our lives, I cant wait to flash forward and see what we actually decide on. Since we are sharing, he they are in no particular order:

Funny, DH and I were watching Lost the other night and he suggested Penelope (Penny). Piper was my best friend's girl name of choice (she miscarried a few months ago though unfortunately).

Those are all very pretty and unique names that you have on your list.

My mom recently passed away as well and her name was Sandra so I have to add that to the list as an option. My mom really wanted me to use Sylvia as a girl's name after her aunt who she was very close to. It is so hard, isn't it?

Wow, I am sorry to hear about your Mom, what a horrible thing to have to go through. I actually really like Sylvia, I know an adorable little girl named Sylvie, so I have a great association with that name.

I should probably take Piper and Hadley off the list, DH is a pretty firm no on those. We actually went out and bought a name book the other day, which we never had to do with the boys, we just came to their names so easily. This little lady is proving to be a challenge!

Good luck with your decision, the names you have on your short lists are great, so you cant go wrong. Keep fighting for Oliver, maybe you can wear him down
