My little girl has been so fussy the last few days, she cries between/throughout nursing and then is fussy until she falls asleep.  Anyone else having the same issue?

It could be reflux or a dairy allergy. DD was like that and she is now on soy formula (I didnt bf her). It has helped tremendously!

I breast feed and have been avoiding dairy, anything else diet related you would reccomend?

You could have an overactive letdown. It can cause a lot of gas in babies. It could be the dairy, but chances are she'd spit up a ton or have bloody stools. Are you normally very full when you feed her?

Fuller breasts yes, no issues with spitting up or bloody stool.

My guess would be the overactive letdown then. You can try elevating her when you nurse, doing the football hold with her head up higher, hand expressing, or pumping through your letdown. There's good info on Kellymom.com.
