PSA: Try Ann Taylor Loft for maternity wear

i'm having a hell of a time trying to remain somewhat stylish during this pregnancy (i'm a bonafide shopaholic)...and maternity clothes leave a lot to be desired. i wandered in to ATL (i rarely shop there, but a friend told me to try it)...quality was ok...but saw that they have cute summery non-maternity dresses in various cuts that would work for a PG woman. here are a few that i bought:

  • cute dresses, Express also has a lot of empire waist dresses and flowing tops that will get through a majority of pg. I'm counting on my maxi dresses to take me to the end, they're long enough that I can hem the back to stay even with the front.
  • I would be worried that those are too short and by the time the belly got bigger they would ride up too much in the front, but they are cute.

This is just what I was thinking, and there doesn't seem to be much room in the belly.

  • I like Ann Taylor Loft a lot. Too bad their actual maternity line was so short-lived.
  • i'm finding that a lot of places actually have some pretty pregnancy-friendly dresses this summer.
  • I'm short and have stumpy legs, so the length factor is not a problem for me!
  • I own the second one. They also have some cute looser tops.
  • Ha! To funny! I was just in ATL the other day to look at some new maternity clothes. I am having a heck of a time finding shirts that fit me okay right now. I am short and pretty petite so maternity shirts look like tents on me even though I do have a nice belly. Maternity shirts are super long on me as well so I went on a mission to find t-shirts that were just a wee bit longer and ATL had some! I was so happy!
