We're stuck in a rut and DD's currently going through the phase of rejecting the foods she once loved and dropping the rest on the floor (does it ever stop?!!).
Current breakfast selection: whole wheat toast; whole wheat English muffin; mini-waffles; fresh fruit; yogurt; dry cereal; scrambled eggs
Current lunch & dinner: macaroni & cheese; plain pasta; cheese quesadilla; peanut butter & jelly sandwich; Quorn brand "chicken" nuggets; MorningStar veggie patties; turkey dogs (not the greatest for her, but she LOVES them); she will also eat some of what we're having for dinner. Argh! I totally forgot to mention that she loves most vegetables and also eats those for lunch/dinner...
Any more ideas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Thanks!
Also, anyone know of a nitrite-free brand of hot dog?
Re: Need food ideas!
Either Central Market or Whole Foods sells them...I can't remember which.

Hey, Dana, I'm guessing Central Market or Whole Foods sells them.

Pancakes, french toast, bagles, hard boiled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, ham/egg/cheese omlet, breakfast taco (eggs, potato, cheese, whole wheat tortilla), fruit with yogurt dip, scones (I make a big batch and freeze), muffins
pizza (I put sauce on bread with cheese and toppings and put it in the toaster oven), rotiserie chicken, meat balls (I make small chicken ones with veggies and freeze), sloppy joes (I just put it on a slice of wheat bread), turkey burger, shredded beef, lunch meat roll ups (with cheese), pasta salad, tortallini, ravioli, grilled ham/tomato/cheese, sweet potato fries
It sounds like she's doing pretty well. ?Don't forget old stand-bys like oatmeal and applesauce. ?You could put cream cheese on the toast or muffin. ?Cottage cheese with fruit might be worth a try. ?We tried it too late, and DS isn't into it. ?French toast is always good, and it was a way for me to get egg into DS when he wasn't eating it. ?You could always make a batch of blueberry or banana muffins to freeze for breakfast or snack.?
You could try a tuna sandwich. ?Even when DS was barely eating other meats, he would eat wheat bread with mayo and some shredded tuna on it. ?Cut up nitrate free lunch meat, cheese, wheat crackers or bread with grape tomatoes and a veggie. ?Pasta with meat sauce or ravioli/tortellini with tomato sauce (or plain). ?You could also try pita and hummus. ?DS loves soups/stews... I just reduce the amount of broth in his bowl.
wholesometoddlerfood.com has some good ideas and recipes, too. ?I used to make the meatballs from there and freeze them. ?https://wholesometoddlerfood.com/toddlerfastfoods.htm
