Maternity pillows???

Now that I am getting bigger, I am finding that I sleep weird and wake up with horrible back pain. I was wondering if there are any special maternity pillows out there to help me position myself differently or would one of those body pillows do the trick?

Re: Maternity pillows???

  • i was not willing to spend 50 bucks on that snoogle thing so i bought a regular old body pillow at target for 10 bucks and it works just fine =)
  • I bought a maternity pillow and I don't use it.  Instead I use two body pillows alongside of me - I've been sleeping like a baby lately.  ::knock on wood::

  • They make special maternity pillows, but they are a little pricey. I went and bought a nice memory foam pillow, and place it in between my knees and thighs at night. It is much better than a regular pillow, but is much cheaper than a maternity pillow. =)
  • I tried the regular body pillow but it didn't work for me after while. I ended spending the cash and getting the snoogle and boy did it make a differance. Amazon has them for $43 plus free shipping.

I guess its whats best for you. That's just my two cents.

  • I just use a body pillow that I bought for $15, but when I wake up in the morning it is always on the ground. So it helps me fall asleep!

  • I got a foam maternity pillow at Babies R Us. It's wedge shaped. I use it between my legs..but haven't found that it works very well for anything else. But it was about $12. it might work better for you? Who knows. :)

  • I got a pg pillow from Target - I think it was called a Boppy pregnancy pillow or something?  It was about $45 - and I really like it!

  • I have the Snoogle, and I don't know what I would do without it.  It helps with back pain - I love it, and sleep great.  DH also bought a memory foam pad that goes over our regular mattress that's awesome.

  • I love my snoogle. It has helped with sleep a lot. I find it supports my tummy & my back & even allows me to sleep on my back but slightly tilted. I think its worth the $!
