It's really all my fault. I decided it would be a great idea to take the bus to UCLA, which is 6 miles from our house, for the LA Times Festival of Books. Eric Carle was doing a reading there and I thought it would be fun to hear it.
Yeah, so it was so crowded that we could barely see or hear him. DS was completely disinterested. So that was a bust. And he only napped for 20-30 minutes in his stroller, so you know that was a recipe for disaster.
Go to take the bus home and he's spitting all over and screaming, so I told him if he didn't stop we'd have to get off the bus and walk. Guess what? He didn't stop. So we walked.
Honestly, I didn't think I had any other choice at that point. With LA traffic the way it is, it was going to be minimum an hour ride home. I think making other people deal with a spitting, screaming toddler for an hour is not humane.
Anyway, we'll never take the bus that far again. What a nightmare. I guess the upshot is we got plenty of exercise today!

That sucks.
Your sig is cute and the cat's crotch shot is hilarious. Are you keeping her?
Yep, we're keeping him. I don't think Alex would forgive us if we gave French Fry, as he calls him, away now!
