2nd guessing myself-- WWYD re: bedrooms

Currently, DD1 is in the smaller of the two bedrooms (but has a huge closet). DD2 is in the larger bedroom- we put her in there because we wanted the it for the nursery as we have a loveseat in there.?

DD1 currently is in a toddler bed but we've ordered her "big girl" furniture, (bed, nightstand, large dresser), and assumed we'd mover her to the big bedroom and DD2 to the smaller bedroom.

But now I'm feeling guilty as to DD1 getting the new (expensive) furniture, and DD2 being stuck in the smaller room with the ikea furniture.... I?had planned to replace the ikea furniture with new stuff when dd2 went into her big girl bed but that just seems wasteful now...?

?

SO...WWYD?

Switch the girls rooms, or keep them in their current rooms? All the furniture is white, so the bed would match either furniture.

The ikea furniture must stay in the small bedroom and the new stuff in the big bedroom is the only restriction...?

?

TIA & sorry so long. ?

  • Keep them in their rooms. I think you are feeling guilty and you shouldn't. They do not know where the furniture came from or how much it cost.

  • I wouldn't put more work into it than you have to.  I would keep them where they are.  They have no idea that one set of furniture is more expensive than the other.
