How early can a baby start teething?

DD is only 2 1/2 months but she has been drooling alot, and?biting on the paci and my finger for the past week and she seems a little fussier, she is not a very fussy baby. I really think this has to be too young, anyone ever heard of teething this early?

    Teething just means the teeth are moving and they might not come in for months even though it sounds like she's teething.  That said, DS went to daycare with a girl that was born with 2 teeth - yeah, crazy but apparently happens in like 1 in 1000 babies.  And we met a 10mo with a full set of teeth, started at 8 weeks.

    Born with teeth wow!!!! that is crazy.

    DD started drooling at 10 weeks.  She had her 2 bottom teeth by 4 months and her top ones by 5 months.
