I watch a 6 month old who cries if I'm not holding him or he's not sleeping. I seriously do not have time to sit and hold him all day. I have my own two kids and a house to take care of. I never just sat and held my babies all day, and my babies were did not cry all the time so this is so new to me. Seriously, I am going crazy. I hold him for a bit, then put him in the jumperoo or on the floor to play and all he does is cry. I am at my wits end and ready to tell them to find another sitter because it's so frustrating.

Re: What to do with a baby who cries all the time
I would tell them to find a new sitter.......
Nope, this is a different one. The other one started daycare this week. This one's parents supply everything he needs, but he just cries.
I can't wear him in a sling. He's 22lbs (heavier than my 18 month old) and I've had some early pregnancy spotting, so I can't really be carrying him. I just hold him when I'm sitting, but I still have things at home to do.
Is you watching him new? Maybe he just needs to get used to the new situation?

When A would cry like that I put her in her swing, bouncer or car seat and ran the blowdryer or fan (any white noise really). She hated the sling/carrier. Could something else be bothering him, like reflux?
