Night sleeping getting worse and worse : (

DS had been sleeping okay during the night, but now it seems like it's getting worse each day. ?Last night he got up at 12, I tried to dream feed which worked maybe a little and he went back down til 1am. ?Nursed from 1 til 2. ?And then basically was awake every hour for the rest of the night. ?Half of the time he just wanted to be held or to just have my nipple in his mouth and he'd go back to sleep, but still only for 45 min or so. ?So hard to get any real sleep! ?At least I took a shower this morning already, that makes me feel a little more like a real person. ?Anyone else's LO go backwards like this?

You are not alone! My dd had been sleeping 8:30-3:30/4:00 for about two weeks. In the last two weeks she has developed a pattern similar to your ds.  Up al the time for an hour at a time.  She has also stopepd napping.  As you can imagine she is a real joy to be around.  I also have a 3 year old so sleep in son-existent for me and it is really taking its toll.  I hope this "phase" ends soon.

my dd when through a stage like this...i finally got fed up being her paci (which we don't use btw) and figured if she was full, burped and had a clean diaper, she was fine....i think i was just used to waking up for every lil noise that came out of her and was used to thinking she was hungry...what i did was let her get fussy for a few minutes to see if she was really hungry and if not, she would eventually just go back to bed....where is she sleeping?  i also learned that having her in her own room/crib was a great thing too..that way you don't wake up for every coo/grunt/poop that came from her

Sleep is a roller coaster ride, and when they're that little every day can be different.  It will get better...eventually.  Just try to hang in there and take a nap today when he naps!
