Is 35 weeks pregnant and activly doing things to progress labor, like pushing herself to do housework because she knows it's causing her to have contractions, inserting evening primrose oil capsules because she has a friend whose water broke an hour after inserting an EPO capsule, and stuff like that.

 I want to throttle her. Her baby isn't ready yet!

I would have given up my life savings to be 35 weeks pg with no signs of labor.  Well, you know what they say... ignorance is bliss!  Until it bites you in the ass that is!

Grr...I hope to be so uncomfortably pregnant one day!  Oh well, hopefully, for her babe's sake, she doesn't go into labor.

Ugh. My friend's wife is doing the same thing... she keeps facebooking about how bad she wants the baby out while I keep updating on how our girls are doing in the NICU. Not that I've had to live this for a long, long time but 2 weeks is enough for me to know that some people will never understand unless they've lived it.

I would be tempted to tell her that if her baby comes early, the very first time he/she does something selfish she won't have to question where he/she learned that - from HER!

what a selfish women!!!! When I was preggo with the Girls' I didn't give two craps about how uncomfortable I was or how much I wanted them out..I prayed like heck every day that I would go full..I went to 35w6d and still wish I could have gone to 37 weeks...does she not realize that there still could be issues even at 35 weeks...like breathing issues!!!!!

My 35 weeker had A's and B's and came home on a monitor for 3 months.  He was on CPAP, jaundiced had sepsis *found out in December while reading his paperwork that we gave the neurologist*.  I'd give my right arm to have given him the chance to come on time instead of hooked up to machines to help him breathe and monitor his hearrate....

What an ignorant fool. I would have KILLED to make it to 35 weeks, heck even to make it 1-2 more days past 30weeks. I hate people like that. I feel that this is like abuse b/c her baby isn't ready yet.

Let me rephrase that, it IS abuse. I'm going to be TICKED if she comes over here b/c her baby is preemie, People like that don't deserve our help and support.

What an ignorant moron. Of course, one of the girls on my local was complaining to me about being uncomfortable at 34w pregnant.. WHILE ROBBIE WAS IN THE NICU... asking how to induce labor etc etc.

When I was preggo, I would always comment on how I was done and wanted DS to arrive.  I was being sarcastic, but DS did get the memo and came at 32 weeks.  I would have gladly traded in the c-section and 27 days in the NICU for a full term babe.  People just don't get it!
