The AAP changed the carseat

recommendation from 1yr. to 2yrs. for rear-facing. They said this on our local news this morning, but I cannot find it on the AAP's site.

thank goodness for the nest.  i probably would never have had this ammunition to argue my desire for extended rear facing with dh.  i lost the battle after a few months (no, not a few months old - a few months past 1st bday) with ds #1 and now i know i'll have kid#2 rear facing for 2 years.
