2nd Trimester

Crazy show on Discovery Health...

Triplets who were born at 24 weeks... survived, but are deaf and blind. It is just amazing to see the pictures of the newborns and think, "That is what is inside me." It really, REALLY makes me realize how honestly far along I really am... and how lucky I am that there are no problems that can be seen.

  • I had a neighbour as a kid who was a foster parent. I remember her taking in a blind baby once. It was amazing - the baby didn't move. Just laid on the bed. So good, so quiet. I wonder whatever happened to her?
  • im watching too, man that must be super hard on parents, kids too
  • I have seen that one bc quite honestly I am totally obsessed with discovery health chanel.

It broke my heart, those girls living in a world that can neither hear nor see. The step-dad is pretty amazing, he has such love for those babies.

I completely agree with you on that. It's hard to find parents who will accept children who aren't their own to begin with, let alone three that are deaf and blind. That man deserves a medal, for sure.
