Biggest Loser anyone *spoilers*

I know a bunch of us were talking about this as it started last night... anyone on right now who watched it as well? I cannot believe the way it went down.  Ron (and no I think his son too) is a piece of work.

I totally understand why they wanted Kristin gone (duh), but then he shouldn't have played the "good guy" knowing he could get away with that and still basically have her kicked off.  He's just so slimey to me. What did you all think?

What surprised me was that when Alison asked if he knew how Mike was going to vote he lied.  He promised Kristin he wouldn't write her name down and would talk to Mike.  He's always been in it solely to see that his son wins, but I was still surprised he flat out lied.

  • I did not catch the end, but I am not a fan of Mike or Ron.  I used to like Mike but I think he has turned into a douche and Ron....it was just something about him that just turned me off in the beginning.
  • Yeah, very sneaky in my opinion. The both of them are stupid for thinking they could have a conversation behind closed doors and not be recorded. They should learn sign language or write back and forth on paper so they are not overheard by the microphones!

I thought it was classic when Alison told Ron "you look surprised" that Mike voted for Kristin.

Unfortunately, Kristin had her chance. I like her the most, but she dodged a bullet last week and when she fell below the yellow line again, that was it for her.

  • I think it's a game and they're in it to win it. my DH and I had this conversation last night. he likes Mike because he's confident and he's playing the game. he doesn't get into all the wishy washy feelings. he thinks people shouldn't go on to make friends. support each other and help each other, yes, but when it comes down to it, you need to do what you need to do to win. I think it just shows you can trust no one on these shows. I was actually kind of sick of Kristin and Helen so I was okay with either one leaving.
  • Exactly, he definitely lied (that conversation he and Mike had was so awful) that he "didn't know".  I don't fault them for doing it if they really wanted to win of course, but just the way it was handled was so, so crappy.  Yeah you didn't write her name down, but you totally weren't looking out for her and knew you could play the good guy while still getting your way.  And then at the end when Mike says "yeah I am going to win" and Ron's like "yeah, my won WILL win" - they are just jerks.

Oh I totally agree.  Obviously they want to win and why shouldn't he make it easier for Mike to win, it was just the way it went down.  Ron didn't have to be so "oh am a hero, I didn't write your name down" about it.

  • I think Mike was just doing what Ron said to do, so him voting out Kristin I blame Ron for.  I thought Ron was such a nice guy but now he is so two faced!  I missed the begining of what Ron said to Mike though when they were discussing how to vote.

On a side note, Helen has gotten extremely annoying!!!

  • I know....things always start to get a little heated at this point because everyone wants to be in the final. Mike was right...Kristin was his biggest competition left at the house. she had the most to still lose.
  • Did you guys see the looks on Tara and Filipe's faces when Mike gloated that he was going to win?

  • when the show started last night I told my DH I am not sure why I continue to watch because all of those people make me so mad. Kristin was about the only one I like left. I cannot stand Helen or Ron and Mike. Tara is a rock star but she annoys me too. I guess I want Philipe to win now. Mike and Ron are SHADY....

I kind of hope his arrogance just adds fuel to their fires and they end up kicking it in the last week.

  • I understand why they did it but I don't think Ron needed to lie.  I laughed because Kristin totally called them out on it.  Mike and Ron need to be careful now because Mike saying he is going to win it all made the others look like they were gunning for him now.

  • I missed this episode (gonna have to wait for it to be posted on Hulu), but I can't stand Ron!  Someone said the other day that his this seasons Heba - and I totally agree.

I know it's a game, it's just sick to watch people turn something so positive into something so petty and nasty.  And you'd think that someone like Ron who has struggled his whole life with weight would be much more grateful for that experience - ugg!

Mike better hope he doesn't fall below the yellow line next week after that comment.

Exactly - he totally hurt himself by acting the way he did.  He could have voted the way he had without being a jerk about it.

I agree, there is something about Helen that annoys me.  Not to mention the sheer fact that she sent her very overweight daughter home b/c she wanted to stay even though she's lost weight before.  That's not cool IMO.

  • I Loved Kristin. I will miss her.  Tara annoys the hell out of me.  I was liking MIke but a little bummed by him now.  I am very impressed with his Weight loss though.

  • I loved Kristin too... and understand why they let her go....BUT that whole things that went down last night was shady! Mike needs to grow some ballz and make a decision of his own!
