I'd do them with our own digital camera but our friend who is a pro is doing them. We'll probably just pay her for the CD - no more than $50 I'd think?

I'm getting them done, but they're "free."

My good buddy is taking them --she's a photographer that's just starting out -- & will use my pics for her portfolio.  I'll pay for her gas & her time to edit them.

I'm doing a package from a photographer for like $800 but it covers maternity, newborn and 1 year pictures, and it includes the proofs from each sitting so you don't have to buy any pictures on top of that unless you want to, it comes with 1 4x6 proof of every pic taken.

Less.  I have a photographer friend who is going to do them for me, and in return, I'm doing her family portraits.  I'll be doing my sister's maternity shots for free.

A good friend of mine and DHs is just starting out I will pay her $100 for her time, editing and disc and the same for newborn pics as well.  If we decide not to do the maternity we have a prof camera and I am pretty good with lighting and editing... so we will just see how I feel.  I may not want anyone looking at my belly in another month (30 weeks).
