I remember the other day you were saying that you wanted to teach your kiddos Russian. Check out this site- they have some cute things in Russian. I have difficulty finding materials in Italian, I imagine Russian is even more difficult.

  • Thanks!

My mom is actually going to be doing the teaching. I suck. LOL

She got a Russian kid's grammar book on Amazon, but so far that's it. We're waiting until she retires in June before we start.

We tried to teach Matthew 'Christos Voskrese' for Easter-- it sort of sounded like it. :-)

    Ha, funny.

We have a handful of books, DVDs and these flashcard type things. G can count to 12, but for 5 which is cinque (CHIN-que) she says "chickee".

She also says "biotch" for me piace (meh piotch)- I like.

    We laugh :)

  • Sounds like my level of Italian.

I went to Venice for 3 days back in 2000, and all of those darned Venetians wanted to practice their English on me. So I spoke phrase-book Italian, and they spoke much better English.
