Question- reaction to pineapple

My son is 10 days old and I had pineapple yesterday and today.  This morning around 3am he vomited and I figured it was due to the food I had for dinner last night.  Then again today he vomited a decent amount after he hadn't for a while.  After thinking about what I ate, and researching online, I determined that it was from the pineapple I had both yesterday and today with lunch.  My questions is how long does it take to get out of my system so that he doesnt suffer during each feeding...I feel horrible for my little man.  TIA
