Why is it that the hair you pluck is always creepy and long?

My eyebrows.

There are a few that always grow back in.  I don't understand it.  They are barely long enough for me to pluck, but when they come out, they are really long and thick.

It sort of creeps me out.  And I'm not super hairy or anything.  Where do they hide?

It could have been worse.
