They are keeping him at the vet for 3 days?  I would totally miss my dog for that long!  When we got ours neutered he was only at the vet for a day fortunately.  GL.

Yeah, two nights - three days.  Is that what I said?  lol.  I don't remember but that's what I meant.  He's having the laser removal surgery.  I'm gonna miss him!

Ask them if you can not leave him overnight.  We promised to keep him quiet and they let our 3rd dog come home that same day.  I figured, no one was going to watch him in the kennel overnight to make sure he wasn't licking stitches, etc. and I wanted him to be home w/ us.

all my boy pets have been able to come home later that day.  girl pets stay one night.  i've never heard of staying 3 days!  poor puppy man.  hopefully he'll be good and doped up so he won't mind as much.

Our vet is a very old fashioned man.  lol.  He likes to keep a close eye on his surgery pets to watch for any sign of infection, etc.  I'm okay with leaving him there since I know the vet is just being cautious.

Aww, my pup got the snip, snip last month - he seemed pretty pissed at me when we got home.  It is weird they keep him so long, you'd think the recovery would be even easier with a laser surgery.

aww poor pup. why are they keeping him? with all 3 of my boy dogs - we dropped them off at 8 and picked them up after lunch the same day.

It takes 3 days?? When we had our lab done, we dropped him off at 8am, they called by 8:30 saying he was done and that we could pick him up at like 3pm
