Food hangover...

So I just ate an incredibly HUGE lunch.

I got so hungry (no morning snack) and then just PIGGED OUT.  I ate a footlong turkey sub, BBQ chips (middlesworth for those around PA) and some yogurt.

Besides the chips nothing was too bad for me, but God am I stuffed.  I need such a huge nap now.

Re: Food hangover...

  • I have done that exact same thing, but it's usually when I go to a sit down restaurant for lunch.  By 2:00pm or so I am wiped out.

  • You are cracking me up!  I get so hungry sometimes that I feel like I can just keep eating and eating.  I have only gained 1 pound in the past 6 weeks (put on 10 right away - I'm a HUGE runner and I stopped running all together) and I'm worried that I'm going to stand on the scale one day and I'm gonna have gained like 20 pounds.  It's amazing to me that we can eat so much and then not gain any weight, just goes to show that our metabolism's are out of control and you need it.  I say if you are hungry, eat, just don't eat junk.  Turkey sandwiches are a great choice though and you gotta do what your body tells you.
  • Yeah, last apt I had only gained 4 lbs.  I'm afraid what they are going to say on Monday when I go back.

I take turns eating good and bad.  Last night I had brown rice, baked Haddock, grapes and salad.  So, I guess that evens out the damage I just did with my chips!!!
