Update on Twin to Twin TS.

So I went to the specialist yesterday and met the doc who will be doing the amnio therapy. I've officially been switched to him so my hospital changed and he'll be delivering the girls. The appointment went well. We've caught it really early and at this point he doesn't want to start the amnio therapy. The girls are measuring 7 days apart (up 2 from 2 weeks ago) and the bladder on Baby B (the donor) is still visible. So I'll be having weekly ultrasounds with him and if it progresses we'll start the amnio process. I'll be going to Utah or San Franisco if the laser surgery is needed.

So for now, keep us in your prayers. Hopefully we won't progress to stage 2.

That;s great they caught it early!!  With weekly ultrasounds we were able to make it to 30 weeks before bed rest.  They are now 3 lb 14 oz and 2 lb 13 oz. and they will hopefully cook for another two weeks. 

My dr recommended taking extra folic acid and iron --  just thought I would share in case they didn't mention that.

You are in my prayers!  My boys had TTTS but we were Stage IV before they caught it.  Sounds like you guys are well taken care of and I bet everything will turn out fine.
