Re: how does the children's place sizing run?

  • a little big on L.  their clothes kinda suck though, they are good for a couple uses, but the material isn't all that great.  have you checked out gymboree?  their new spring line is super cute too.

  • oh no, are they like old navy AKA "disposable clothing" lol

i have to check gymboree next,i got some coupons in the mail yesterday woo

  • I disagree with PP. I love their clothes especially their pj's. The clothes run small.  I think the quality of their clothes are great.

I may be a little biased though.... I work there PT. LOL!

  • They shrink, buy one or two sizes up

  • I think they are a little random - DS has some jammies (the ones in sig pic) that are 6-9 months and he has just about outgrown them (they won't fit in another month).  However, he has pants from there that are 3-6, and they are still big on him, both length and around the waist.  DS is 26 inches and about 16.5 pounds.

Yes, this. The quality is less than stellar, but for the price, who cares? Buy it now while he's little, though, their clothes for older boys get pretty dorky.

Oh, and I think they run average to slightly small, but I only buy PJs there these days.

  • DS is growing so fast, I don't mind "disposeable" clothing if it's affordable.  He grows out of everything in a week anyway.  The clothes I buy from Gymboree, Janie and Jack, The Gap etc....those I box up as he grows out of them to save for our  next baby and to "hand down" to friends having boys.

DS has some knitwear from there that is HUGE compared to similar stuff wit the same size label from Carter's. I can't attest to the quality, since it

I don't know that I'd call Old Navy 'disposable' either. I have some very cute stuff from there that my kid is at least the third baby to wear and it is in great shape.
