Update from the specialist

Today we went to see the Perinatal specialist to learn more about the genetic testing. Since we also joined Emory's study last week we knew most of what the dr told us. Our children have a 50% chance of getting the gene from me regardless. He agreed with the my OB that an amnio wasn't really worth the risk since it's something we can test for as soon as he's born. We ended up getting an u/s which was great. Baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead (eek!) but everything is normal and healthy so far. Just like with our 3D session he had his hands and arms covering his face the entire time and wouldn't move them for anything. He's already getting mine and DH's stubborn streak. ;-)

The cute thing is after he's born he will do the same thing with his hands for a while.

Yup, Ella was the same way and still does this.  It is really adorable until she scratches her face.

Glad you got another u/s and that things are progressing well.
