1st internal today...

I am just over 35 weeks and my dr did my 1st internal today after doing the GBS test. I was just a little surprised to find out that I am already 1 cm and "pretty thinned out.' Baby girl is head down and pretty low! He thought he felt her head when he checked my cervix. He said she was probably between 5 1/2 and 6 lbs now.?

I know this really means nothing, this is my 2nd DD!! And with 1st DD, I was 3 cm at 38 weeks and she was born right on her due date! ?And it was only a 5 hour labor. He keeps telling me that I will probably go a little early and labor will probably be a little quicker!! ?But who knows!!?

Anyway, just wanted to share.

Yay for progress!  I think I'm one of those people who dilates primarily during labor.  I was at 1 cm with DS, and he came two days later.  This time, I have zero progress so far.

wooohooo! lets hope for a short labor again!! i have my 1st internal next week im hoping for some kinda progress..
