I went in because at times I have consistet contractions(bh). My doctor checked me out and my uterus isnt active which is great!! He said that I need at least a gallon of water a day!! WTH!!! How much is your water intake?
I drink water constantly, I am always thirsty. I have a pint glass at work and I'm on my 5th refill not counting the Orangina and soup I had for lunch. If we go shopping, I bring water with me or I end up buying it or something to drink wherever I end up. I bet I am at about a gallon a day if not more!
I feel like I drink a lot of water (I keep a bottle in the living room, the bedroom, by the bath, in my car and at work and swig off them all day) but I bet I'm nowhere near a gallon...
I know I am NOT drinking enough water daily. I try but it seems like since I got pregnant I am not as thirsty. I know that sounds really weird. Right now I would say I am consuming around 2-4 glasses of water a day. The only other thing I am drinking is milk and a lot of it
my OB told me atleast 8 8ounce glasses a day. That is usually what I do, if not a little more.

I drink 96 (4 of my Camelbak or 12 8-ounces) ounces a day at work and coast through the night so that I can sleep throughout the night without having to get up to go to the bathroom.
I probably drink between 4-5 liters a day. I am constantly thirst even when I just had a glass of water... of course this probably is the reason I have to run to the bathroom at least once an hour.
You can get that gallon by drinking juice, milk or water. It doesn't have to be all water. Although I think him telling you to drink a gallon a day is a little excessive.

Milk is perfect, it can still be included in the amount of fluid you are drinking per day. So can juices.
I would say about a gallon and a half. I find when i'm not drinking water I feel like crap..when I am, I feel great..well aside from the baby's feet under my ribs

Hopefully it will give me more energy. I drink liquids all day, but not nearly a gallon maybe 4 bottles of bottled water. I will give it a try tomorrow!!

It helps keep the bloat away too good luck tomorrow..it definitly feels like a full time job..lol
64oz. I bought one of those water bottles from Walmart for $2.00 that have the recommended 64oz (8 glasses). It really helps.
I just estimate how much I can subtract from that bottle if I have something else, but still try to drink the whole bottle. Lately it's been hard because I just don't have the room and am already peeing what seems like every 15 minutes. The only thing that is not included in your fluid intake is stuff with caffeine such as tea and a lot of soda's. I drink a lot of 7-Up/Sprite and milk. Also, a lot of the foods you eat include fluids such as soups. I eat a lot of cereal, so that helps.
