name that baby! (XP from Baby Names)

in 3rd Trimester

I have less than 2 months before this baby is coming and every day I fall less in love with the names on our list.  The only 2 names we're considering at the moment are Ellis and Oliver. 

I like unusual names (like Grover and Kellerman) and DH likes plain jane names (like John).  Names that almost made the list: Theo/Theodore (he likes Theo but hates Theodore, I like Theodore but hate Theo), Kelly (I like it as a nn, he likes it as a full name), Jude and Milo (we liked them initially but grew apart from them).  Neither of us wants anything too popular or trendy.

Knowing our style, do you have any suggestions of names we might like?  I've tried Nymbler but it hasn't had any hits for us.  Thanks for any suggestions!

    I like Ellis because it's similar to the name we're giving our son (Elliot). I love Oliver, too, but DH vetoed it. I'm not a fan of the others you have listed.

    I'm the same as you...I like different names, but also not the trendy ones that are up and coming or anything.  I'll recommend Sadler (I'm partial to it hehe), Garner, Shaw, Ansel, Breckin, Bentley, Flynn, Gable, Pearson, Jenson, Kently, Roan, Ronan, Roman, Weston, Graham, Thayer, Duncan...Those are all from our list we have that is constantly being added to for future reference...

    ?I really love Oliver. ?I know babies named Oliver and Ellis and they are both very cute babies. ?I like Oliver better than Ellis, but I really can't pinpoint why. ?I also really like Jude.

    Our boy name would have been Abram Lucas or Oliver Noah.

    We also had Colin Gabriel and Judah Benjamin on our list.

    I like a challenge! What about Finn, Harrison, Dashiell or Oscar? I like both your choices of Ellis and Oliver.
