napping is the most frustrating part of having twins imo... and every time I think I have them figured out they switch it up on me
a few weeks (a month?) ago we switched to a 4 hr feeding schedule with them waking at 7 (although now it's more like 6 or 630 every day) so their naps were at 9 and 1 and then some sort of catnap in the late afternoon. now they're waking up earlier (boo!) so we're doing the nap a little earlier, more like 830 since they've already been up like 3 hours if we wait until 9. their second nap is still usually between 1230 and 1. ideally they'll sleep for 2 hours both times but lately it's more like 1 to 1 1/2 which makes them MORE tired the next time (can you tell I'm frustrated )
up until now Amelia was napping in her swing in the living room, Paul naps in his crib and always has. This morning's experiment is to try to get them both to nap in their room. I JUST got Amelia down in there and it's 915 so we'll see how it goes. We're just trying to eliminate the swing napping because she's getting big for it but we may end up needing to go to a pnp in another room or something if they end up waking each other up too much.

This is pretty much our daily schedule
6:30-7:00 wake
7:00 am - bottle
8:30 - oatmeal and fruit
9:00-10:15/10:30ish - nap
11:00 - bottle
1:00-2:30ish - nap
3:00 - bottle
4:30ish - 5:15/5:30 - cat nap (if we are out, in the car/stroller/ etc. or just a little snoooze in their cribs)
5:30 - veggie
6:45/7:00 - last bottle and bed
the girls always nap in their cribs (unless we are out, etc.)
